CALL FOR PAPER PROPOSALS

The Kantian Standing Group of the European Consortium for Political Research is organising a section on “Justification and Application: The Nature and Function of Political Norms” as part of the ECPR General Conference at Sciences Po Bordeaux, 4-7 September 2013.

Paper proposals are invited for each of the section’s panels:

1. The Nature of Political Justification

3. Kant on Citizenship and Exclusion

4. Thou Shalt Judge: The Faculty of Judgement in Moral, Political and Legal Philosophy
Chair: Mathias Thaler; co-chair/discussant: Mihaela Mihai

5. The Morality of Politics: Kantian Perspectives
Chair: Harry Lesser

6. Politics Through Procedures? Examining the Scope and Nature of Procedural Justification
Chair: Andrei Poama; co-chair/discussant: Emanuela Ceva

7. The Dynamics and the Contestation of Global Norms
Chair: Lisbeth Zimmermann; co-chair/discussant: Nicole Deitelhoff

8. Provisional Justice
Chair: Sylvie Loriaux
