Kant versus Constant: Sobre um suposto direito de mentir

Neste artigo apresenta-se uma nova interpretação do ensaio de Kant Sobre um suposto direito de mentir por amor à humanidade (1797). Sustenta-se que a filosofia moral de Kant em sua totalidade e de maneira mais especÃfica no ensaio escrito contra Constant rejeita, por um lado, definitivamente a possibilidade de se falar de um direito à mentira, por outro lado, permite legitimar a mentira como uma atitude de um agente moral prudente no caso desenhado por Constant.Referências
